Uzbekistan will hold a “road show” (meeting with investors) in the cities of New York, Boston (USA) and London (United Kingdom) from 7 to 14 February 2019.
Meetings are held in order to issue and successfully place the first government international bonds of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Following the meetings, based on the conditions and trends in the international financial markets, it is planned to issue the country’s first state international bonds for a period of 5 and / or 10 years.
The delegation of Uzbekistan plans to hold negotiations with large investors, which will allow integrating the country into international financial markets.
JP Morgan was appointed global coordinator and joint bookrunner, Citi and Gazprombank - joint leading managers and bookrunners.
As part of the issue, Uzbekistan plans to place eurobonds in the amount of US$500 million.
