President of Uzbekistan appointed Anvar Karimov, former chief of Financial Department of the Syrdarya province governor’s office, as Deputy Finance Minister.
The new deputy minister will oversee the matters of tax and customs tariff policy, accounting and audit methodology, pricing and coordination of excess VAT return, finances of the agro-industrial complex and the work of the State inspectorate for insurance supervision.
In June this year, Shavkat Mirziyoyev appointed Ahadbek Khaidarov First deputy finance minister, and in December last year Botira Khodjaeva as the new Minister of Finance.
