Senior executives of Uzbekneftgaz hosted the World Bank’s energy business mission to Uzbekistan. During the meeting, the parties discussed Road Map on reform Uzbekistan gas sector and low-carbon hydrogen production development.
The parties also pondered on the introduction of advanced technological solutions to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and increase the efficiency of production enterprises.
The World Bank’s energy experts offered to jointly study projects on green, solar and wind energy and hydrogen production together with Uzbekneftgaz.
At the end of the meeting, the parties determined the next stages of cooperation on the joint analysis of economic development opportunities through the implementation of green projects.
