Almost two dozen accords worth over US$ 35 million were signed following the maiden Uzbekistan-Tajikistan business forum in Dushanbe on April 19.
Uzbek chemical products manufacturer, UzKimyoSanoat concluded five contracts totaling US$28.4 million for the supply of its products to Tajikistan.
The automotive company UzAvtoSanoat signed contracts with the Tajik LesInvest and Taj Motors to supply its products, in the amount of US$ 1.8 million. UzAvtoSanoat and its affiliates signed four more documents on the supply of auto parts with various Tajik companies.
Uzbek companies Quartz and BestMetalConstruction concluded four contracts for the supply of construction worth US$ 500 thousand with Tajik companies Faizi Khurshed, Peshsaf-1, Tch Mol and Zamon Trade.
The Protocol of Intentions for the sale of Uzbek food products was signed between UzbekOziqOvqatHolding (Uzbek Food Holding) and the Tajik Iktidor for $ 2 million which implies cooperation for 2017-2018.
UzElTechSanoat (Uzbek Electrical Technical Industry) and the Tajik Nematbakhsh signed a Memorandum for the supply of home appliances to Tajikistan in the amount of US$ 2.5 million.
