In 4 months of this year, more than 90 percent of gasoline imported to Uzbekistan was imported from Russia and Turkmenistan.
In January-April 2021, Uzbekistan imported 207.5 million liters of gasoline worth US$ 66.4 million, the Statistics Committee said in a report.
The main countries that Uzbekistan imported gasoline from (in USD):
Russia - 39 million,
Turkmenistan - 22.5 million,
Kazakhstan - 4.6 million.
While, in January-March 2021, Uzbekistan produced 291.3 thousand tons of gasoline. This figure topped 1 million tons in 2020.
