The Minsk Automobile Plant (MAZ) will launch an assembly production of its chassis in Uzbekistan, the company said. The decision to launch this production unit was made at a meeting of the General Director of MAZ Valery Ivankovich with representatives of the Uzbek company Krantas LLC.

Reportedly, taking into account the benefits provided by the Uzbekistan legislation, the organization of assembly production unit will increase the two-way trade between the two countries and increase the competitiveness of Belarusian vehicles in the local market of automakers.

Currently, MAZ’s official distributor MAZ-TASHKENT is successfully implementing MAZ cargo, passenger and special equipment in Uzbekistan, and the organization of a new assembly production of automobile chassis will strengthen the position of the Belarusian flagship of the automotive industry in this market.
