The Tashkent-based enterprise MS RemTex, which is part of the State Defense Industry, plans to organize the assembly of Russian Ural trucks.

"Several models of Ural vehicles will be assembled at the assembly facilities. The project will ensure further diversification of the military and dual-use trucks in our country and the creation of a healthy competition," the State Defense Industry said.

MS RemTex (formerly "14th Automobile Repair Plant) assembled Ural cars in 1994. At present, the enterprise has been redesigned for overhaul of motor vehicles.

Ural military vehicles are currently used in the armed forces of more than 40 countries around the world, with about 400 different superstructures installed on its chassis.
