President Shavkat Mirziyoyev on February 3 visited Yakkasaray small industrial zone in the same district of Tashkent, UzA reported.
The total surface area of the facilty is 61.2 hectares, the surface of premises is 338,000 sq. m. A total of 284 business entities manufacture textile, chemical, food, machinery, paper, furniture and building materials. In 2016, they produced and exported goods worth 630 billion soums and $ 48.5 million respectively.
The technopark hosts a bank, notary office and an access railway, with a total of 6600 people employed.
The head of state noted that such small industrial zones should be created in all districts of the capital.
Shavkat Mirziyoev appealed to entrepreneurs in the Technopark to make use of the business climate in the country, improve products competitiveness and participate in exhibitions abroad.
