Retail prices for AI-80 gasoline and diesel fuel (including ECO grade) is to be deregulated starting from May 1. This is provided for by the April 4 Cabinet’s resolution, the Ministry of Justice said.
Oil refineries will be able to sell Ai-80 and diesel fuel only through exchange trading.
From May, new intra-industry prices will be fixed for oil and gas condensate sold by Uzbekneftegaz and the Shurtan gas chemical complex, which will be linked to Brent oil quotes.
At present, the retail price of AI-80 (including excise tax) is fixed at 4,500 soums/lt.
Since August 15 last year, prices of AI-91 was deregulated.
AI-95 and AI-98 gasoline are being sold at market prices.
