At the Ministry of Transport was held a meeting with executives of Deutsche Bahn. The First Deputy Minister of Transport Ilkhom Mahkamov held talks with the delegation of the company led by the Regional director for Eastern Europe, Russia and CIS, Vincent van Houten.
The parties exchanged views on implementation of operational management system in the public transport, in particular, improvement the activities of Uzbekistan Airways, boosting Uzbekistan’s freight and passenger transportation and transit and logistics potential.
It was agreed to set up a project office for start-ups with the involvement of Deutsche Bahn experts.
Following the meeting, the Ministry of Transport and Deutsche Bahn signed a Memorandum of Cooperation.
