From January 1, 2017 the Government of Uzbekistan has increased the rate of mandatory insurance contributions of citizens to the Off-budget Pension Fund under the Ministry of Finance from 7.5% to 8%.
The new rate was set by the Presidential Decree "On forecast of the main macroeconomic figures and parameters of the State Budget of Uzbekistan for 2017".
The last time the Government increased the rate of compulsory insurance contribution was in January 2016, from 7% to 7.5%.
