Uzatom agency and the French Assystem will consider the possibility of creating an engineering JV, the Ministry of Energy said.
The meeting with the Assystem delegation, headed by Director for Business Developmen Frédéric Cheneau was hosted in Tashkent last Wednesday.
Assystem will help train staff and develop Uzbekistan’s nuclear infrastructure.
Assystem is an international engineering company headquartered in France, specialised in managing complex projects, with a staff of some 5,000 employees and annual revenues of 450 million Euros.
