Uzbek Foreign Minister Abdulaziz Kamilov held talks with the State Minister for Foreign Affairs of Qatar, Mr. Soltan bin Saad Al-Muraikhi, the Uzbek Foreign Ministry said.
The parties reportedly discussed current state and prospects for advancing bilateral cooperation, international and regional problems, and supported the outcomes of the recent inter-ministerial consultations, which made it possible to focus on the priority areas of cooperation and to review the drafts of bilateral agreements.
An exchange of views also took place on holding in Tashkent of the first meeting of the intergovernmental commission on trade, economic and scientific and technical cooperation.
