24th Session of the Uzbek-British Trade and Industry Council (UBTIC), co-chaired by the Uzbek Deputy PM Elyor Ganiyev and Baroness Emma Nicholson of Winterbourne, will be held on February 26-March 1 in Tashkent.
The event is co-organized by the Uzbekstan Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade, the Uzbek-British Council on Trade and Industry and the UK Embassy in Uzbekistan.
The event will be held in the format of a plenary session, which will feature thematic sessions in such areas as investment cooperation, project finance, tourism, health and education.
More than 100 business executives, representing over 55 UK companies, ahve filed applications for participation, while officials of 15 Uzbek ministries, 5 state committees, a number of major state-owned companies, organizations and banks scheduled to attend.
