President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, accompanied by the Tajik President Emomali Rahmon, visited the TALCO state unitary enterprise in Tursunzade, Tajikistan on Thursday, the presidential press service reported.
TALCO plant, built in 1975, was in 2007 reorganized into Tajik Aluminum Company. Currently, TALCO comprises several mining and chemical-metallurgical companies.
In July, the Uzbek Krantas Group and the Tajik Aluminum Company jointly set up TALCO-Krantas special equipment production plant, which is now producing truck cranes, tractor trailers, semi-trailers and other types of special equipment.
The two leaders attended the presentation of the project, as well as with the activities of Aluminum Company.
