Shavkat Mirziyoyev familiarized himself with the construction progress of the Tashkent Metallurgical Plant in Tashkent province Zangiata district.
Equipment from Italy, Germany, Austria, Russia and other countries have been chosen for the 286.7 million euro plant , which will produce metal sheets for automotive bodies and household appliances, metal tiles, corrugated board.
The plant will produce 500,000 tonnes of products per year and employ about 700 people.
