Construction of new plant cement commenced in Namangan's Pap district. According to UzA, the foundation laying ceremony of the Uzbek-Chinese-UAE joint venture PopCement took place in Pap on Monday.
The plant is set up at the former UzRuberoid. The enterprise construction works are scheduled to be completed in September 2018. The 500,000 ton cement plant's estimated cost is US$ 50 million.
