Uzbekistan plans to increase exports up to $ 30 billion by 2022, Deputy foreign trade minister Sahib Saifnazarov said Wednesday in a briefing.
According to him, this is stipulated by the Concept for Boosting Exports for 2018-2022. By 2022 the exports will increase by 2.5 times compared to 2017.
Sahib Saifnazarov noted that in 2017 Uzbekistan's exports will have grown grow by 15%, with US$ 854 million projected trade surplus.
He noted that in 2017 Uzbekistan signed $ 11 billion worth of solid export deals with more than 60 countries and entities. He added that Uzbekistan has already begun deliveries under these contracts.
