Uzbekistan Airways in January-September performed 16,692 flights and carried 1.882 million passengers, which is by 5% less than in the same period last year, a statement of the carrier's website said. 

The UA’s international passengers increased by 0.8%, whereas the CIS and and internal passengers decreased by 4.2% and 14.4%, respectively, with an average load per flight of 113 passengers.

UA’s cargo aircrafts performed 734 flights, an increase by 46 flights compared to the nine months of last year. Total of 30.6 thousand tons of cargo were transported (-1.6%), of which the Navoi airport, an international intermodal logistics center, accounts for 27 thousand tons.
