President Shavkat Mirziyoyev today signed a decree aimed at preventing rise in prices for sugar.
Starting from September 15, a zero rate of import customs duty (according to HS Code 1701) and excise tax (according to HS codes - 1701 91 00 and 1701 99) have been introduced for cane and beet sugar and chemically pure sucrose in the solid state.
The Head of State instructed the Customs Committee to ensure "timely and unhindered customs clearance of imported socially important goods."
