Shargunkumir JSC Modernization Project was launched today in Saryasia district of Surkhandarya province.
The project provides for the modernization of Shargunkumir JSC with an increase in the production of hard coal up to 900 thous. tons per year.
Today the consortium of China Railway Tunnel Group and China Coal Technology & Engineering Group Corp. commenced the main preparatory works in the framework of the $ 94.5 million project.
The facility to be built on turn-key basis is scheduled to be completed in the Q1 of 2020.
