LUKOIL successfully commissioned the main production and process facilities of South-West Gissar project in Uzbekistan. The facilities include a gas treatment plant with an annual capacity of 4.4 billion cubic metres (bcm), a gas pre-treatment unit and four gas-gathering stations, the company said.
As a result, gas production at Gissar fields cluster has reached the design capacity, which is about 14 mln cub. m. per day, or 5 bcm per year. At present, the cluster includes 37 producing wells.
About 3,500 contractors’ staff and 250 specialists of LUKOIL Uzbekistan Operating Company (a subsidiary of LUKOIL) were engaged in the development of Gissar Fields cluster, as well as over 350 special equipment units.
