GM Uzbekistan will suspend production at Asaka plant on August 22 due to annual planned maintenance works in line with the approved work plan, the PR-department of GM Uzbekistan said.
Preventive inspection and maintenance of the main and auxiliary process equipment and accessories, utilities, offsite will be conducted as part of these measures and scheduled repair work will be carried out to prepare for the autumn-winter period.
"We emphasize that all of GM Uzbekistan’s contractual obligations will be performed in time and in full. The maintenance will not affect the delivery schedule of previously contracted cars," the statement added.
Production is said to resume on September 11, 2017.
