Uzbekistan's top 10 trade partners were unveiled. After January-May 2023, China was on the top spot on US$ 4.5 billion. According to the Statistics Agency, China was followed by Russia and Kazakhstan, on US$ 3.8 billion and 1.9 billion, respectively.
The above three countries were followed by:
- Turkey – US$ 1.3 billion;
- Korea - US$1.0 billion;
- Germany - US$ 894 million;
- Kyrgyzstan - US$ 419 million;
- Turkmenistan - US$ 364 million;
- France - US$ 332 million;
- Afghanistan - US$ 328 mln.
In January-May 2023, Uzbekistan's international trade topped US$ 25.8 billion, of which US$10.5 billion were exports and US$15.3 billion - imports.
