As part of the visit of the Uzbek government delegation to France, Deputy PM/Minister of Investments Jamshid Khojaev met with senior executives of a number of leading French companies.
During the talsk with Alstom CEO Henri Poupart-Lafarge, the parties explored the possibilities of introducing the company's solutions in the field of urban public transport organization and agreed to continue joint efforts on detailed development of technical and economic parameters of new projects.
The prospects of the company's participation in a number of solar and wind power plants projects in Uzbekistan were discussed with the CEO of Voltalia, Sébastien Clerc. Deputy PM Khojaev underscored the company's extensive experience in providing high end renewable facilities around the world. Sébastien Clerc expressed interest in opening a representative office in Uzbekistan and building alternative energy facilities.
At the meeting with the CEO of Orano Mining Company, Nikolas Maes, the parties constructively discussed the state and prospects of expanding investment cooperation. Nikolas Maes expressed interest in further development of mutual cooperation, while, the Uzbek side noted that it was ready to provide full support to investors in the implementation of joint projects in the country.
