Annual Chuseok-2024 festival will kick off at the Palace of Korean Culture and Arts on September 14. A diverse program will delight guests of all ages with a gala concert, fairs, a food court with Korean cuisine, master classes and photo zones, a premiere film screening and an incredible K-pop battle.

Chuseok is one of the most important holidays for the Korean diaspora. It marked the end of the harvest - the difficult preparations for the coming winter. This year it was called the Festival of Unity and Korean Culture in Uzbekistan. The palace opens its doors again and on this day it will become a place of unity not only for different peoples, but also for generations.

Food court

Korean cuisine is a standalone art form that can conquer from the first bite. Thanks to the festival, there is an opportunity to try and appreciate the whole range of flavors of traditional dishes and modern Korean street food, which is so appetizingly demonstrated in dramas.

Exhibition

What is the first thing that comes to mind when talking about Korean culture? Jeotgarak  - chopsticks or as they are also called "Korean forks", unique accessories - wallets, fans, hairpins and jewelry, K-pop albums and stationery with images of your favorite idols and, of course, high-quality Korean cosmetics. All this is a small piece of Korea that can always be with you. At the festival fair, you will find something to please yourself, your loved ones or friends whose hearts have been conquered by Korean culture.

Wish board

Modern Korean culture is full of romance, faith in miracles and luck. This year, a separate area has been set aside for this - a wish board. Guests will be able to write their dream on it. The main thing is to believe, and then it will definitely come true.

Culture

September 14 will become a real center where traditions and modernity will come together. Korean culture cannot be imagined without three elements: food, history and art. As part of the celebration of unity and Korean culture, guests will be able to visit the Palace gallery, get to know the history of the Korean diaspora and artistic creativity better.

Another phenomenon of Korean culture is music and dance. And at the festival "CHUSEOK-2024" they occupy places of honor. The celebration will open with a concert featuring famous performers, Korean dance and creative folk groups, who will create a mesmerizing atmosphere and tune the strings of the souls of festival guests to the Korean wave.

And if you are a fan of K-pop, then welcome to the exciting K-POP Dance Fest 2024 dance battle. 17 of the best K-POP teams will meet on one stage, competing for cash prizes and the hearts of the audience. The battle will be judged by a star jury:

l  Pak Ella - representative of KMWA in Central Asia, producer;

l  Kim Jong — professional dancer, partner of K2K Entertainment;

l  Daniil Zhukov — chairman of IMPULSE, honored artist of the Russian Federation;

l  Maxim Sablin (MakS CiryBoy Traffic) — DJ, dancer, ambassador of Jazz-Funk in Uzbekistan;

l  Yulia Stankevich — choreographer of FS WOMEN, graduate of the Academy of Choreography of Uzbekistan.

Guests will have a great opportunity to enjoy epic performances and support the teams on their way to victory.

And how can we not remember the famous Korean drama. This year, a special guest will visit the grand celebration of Chuseok in Uzbekistan:

Ruslan Pak is a talented director born in Uzbekistan and educated in the Republic of Korea. His filmography includes more than 20 films, including: "Argymak" (Heavenly Horses. 2023), "Three" (2020) and "Canaan" (2011), which was presented at the international film festival in Switzerland in Locarno.

The Festival of Unity and Korean Culture in Uzbekistan is an opportunity to have a great and fun time with family and friends, create new bright memories and capture them in the colorful photo zone of the festival.
