In the period from 23-25 October 2023, the renowned certifier ÖSD (Österreichisches Sprachdiplom Deutsch) will offer examinations for the German language level A2 and B1.
The Österreichisches Sprachdiplom Deutsch (ÖSD) is a state-recognised examination system for German as a foreign and second language. Alongside the provider telc, the ÖSD is one of two state-recognised certification companies for the German language. Language certificates are important for documenting a language level to potential employers at home and abroad. Furthermore, a B1 language level is usually required for applications to study programmes in German-speaking countries.
ÖSD (Austrian Language Diploma in German):
The Österreichisches Sprachdiplom Deutsch (ÖSD) or the Verein Österreichisches Sprachdiplom Deutsch is an internationally recognised provider of German examinations in the field of German as a foreign and second language. The ÖSD examinations are in demand, among other things, as proof of German language skills for the labour market, for educational institutions, or for naturalisation procedures. They are offered at all six levels of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages from A1 to C2 and take into account the standard varieties of the German-speaking countries Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Every year, more than 100,000 children, young people and adults take an ÖSD examination at around 400 licensed examination centres in about 50 countries worldwide.
