On September 28, 2021, American Chamber of Commerce in Uzbekistan with support from USAID’s Future Growth Initiative are organizing a working seminar on “How to do business in Uzbekistan”, which is going to be held at 1.30 pm in hybrid format – with location in Hyatt Regency Tashkent for offline participants and Zoom conference room for online participants.

The focus of the seminar is to provide an overview, practical insights, and know-how on “How to do business in Uzbekistan. Speakers will outline the process of launching a new business and the procedures for obtaining necessary permits, paying taxes, customs duties, etc. The participants will also discuss some issues that exist in the market for business services, including financial and insurance services, opportunities in the stock market and real estate. Reports and software that will be presented will reveal some logistical costs and other important aspects of doing business in Uzbekistan, moving down to specific social, legal and telecom services in details.

Along the lines of the event, the newly established Uzbek Agency for Strategic Development under the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade and the American Chamber of Commerce in Uzbekistan will ratify a Memorandum for Cooperation. At a special signing ceremony Mr. Laziz Kudratov, General Director of the Agency for Strategic Development and the AmCham President Mr. Shadab Khan will sign the agreed Memorandum
