Turkish Çalık Holding will build a Turkish Business District in Tashkent, which will host a business center, hotels, a Ziraat Bank office and a shopping/entertainment center. The project is estimated at US$ 400 million, the deputy Tashkent mayor for responsible investments, innovations and tourism development Alisher Tilyaev said.

The interim Tashkent mayor Jakhongir Ortyqhkhojaev and the General Director of the energy company Çalık Energy Rıdvan Aktürk signed a memorandum of understanding Monday on construction of the Turkish Business District during the visit of the Turkish President.

In addition, Jakhongir Ortyqhkhojaev signed a memorandum of understanding with Ziraat Bank CEO Aydın Hüseyn on construction of the Ziraat Bank office.

The Business District will be located on 2.5 hectares. Design and survey works will begin this year.
