The PR Department of the Foreign Ministry informs said that Uzbekistan welcomes the initiative of the Afghan President Ashraf Ghani, on the establishment of the Peace Advisory Council and the governmental group on peace talks.
This move may open up opportunities for broader involvement of all sectors of multi-ethnic Afghan society into the peace process.
Resolving the Afghanistan crisis will certainly contribute to ensuring security and developing regional cooperation in Central and South Asia.
