The delegation of the Uzbekistan Foreign Ministry, led by Deputy minister Saidikram Niyazkhodjaev, held talks in Astana (Kazakhstan) on August 15, 2017.
According to the Uzbek Foreign Ministry, the Uzbekistan delegation held a meeting with Deputy foreign minister of Kazakhstan Galymzhan Koishybaev and Foreign iinistry Executive secretary Anarbek Karashev.
The counterparts reportedly discussed topical issues related to the construction of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Astana, as well as the opening of the Consulate General in the current building of the diplomatic mission in Almaty.
This topic was also discussed in the Committee for construction and housing-utilities services within the Ministry of investment and development, Committee for migration of the Interior Ministry of Kazakhstan, Astana mayor's office.
The Uzbek delegation also visited the EXPO-2017 exhibition in Astana and familiarized themselves with the Uzbekistan's pavillion.
