On June 13, the Uzbek Foreign Minister Abdulaziz Kamilov, who departed for Ashgabat to participate in the High-Level Meeting of Central Asia-UN Dialogue, met with his Turkmen counterpart, the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Rashid Meredov.
The Ministers discussed the practical aspects of implementing the agreements reached during the Uzbek-Turkmen summit talks in March and May of this year.
The sides also discussed the cooperation prospects between Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan in the framework of international organizations, as well as other issues of mutual interest.
