Education general agreement and premises use agreement were signed on February 5 between the Uzbek Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education and Webster University at the Embassy of Uzbekistan to the USA.

Uzbek President instructed the Central Bank to create a Development Bank with a capital of US$ 500 million, Central Bank Chairman, Mamarizo Nurmuratov said at a meeting of the International Press Club Wednesday.

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed the Approval of the Concept of Holding of Population Census in 2022 in Uzbekistan Decree Tuesday. The last census in Uzbekistan was held in 1989.

The President Mirziyoyev issued a decree allowing the sale of locally produced beer and wine in regular stores, hotels and caterers. "The sale of beers and wines of domestic production can be sold by all retailers, hotels and caterers without license," the decree says.
