The award ceremony for the servicemen of Uzbekistan who participated in the International Army Games ArMI-2022 was held on September 17, the Ministry of Defense said.
Prize-winners of the Army Games last Saturday were awarded cash prizes. A group of military personnel who showed good results at the competitions were awarded early regular military ranks.
Contests were held from August 15 to 27, in which in overall ranking, the national team of Uzbekistan won the second place among 37 countries, having won 7 gold, 10 silver and 5 bronze medals. The Uzbek military also recorded 22 personal and team records.
The first place was taken by the team of the Russian Ministry of Defense, the organizer of the Army Games. In third place are the military of Belarus.
Uzbekistan teams took part in 21 contests:
First place in the following contests: Safe Environment, Master Gunsmith, Field Kitchen, Highway Patrol, Sniper Frontier, True Friend (men's and women's teams);
Second place in: Elbrus Ring, Excellent Military Intelligence, Military Medical Relay, Military Rally, Engineering Formula, Horse Marathon, Airborne Platoon, Polar Star, Confident Reception (male and female teams);
Third place: Masters of Armored Vehicles, Professional Sniper, Army Tactical Shooter, Meridian and Sayan March.
As previously reported, Uzbekistan hosted five Army Games contests. The Field Kitchen and Master Gunsmith were held in Jizzakh at the Forish training ground, Safe Environment - at the Sazagan training ground in Samarkand, Road Patrol - in the Eastern Military District and Faithful Friend in the Chirchik Higher Tank Command Engineering School.
