Prosecutor of Kogon district of Bukhara province, Bahodir Ghulomov, was caught by State Security officers while he was receiving US$ 90 thousand. Reportedly, he received the money in exchange for the cancellation of the preventive measure of imprisonment and for a more lenient sentence in the criminal case.
Bahodir Ghulomov was arrested on February 13, 2024 at 11:00 p.m.
Currently, the Bukhara province prosecutor's office is conducting a probe into the case.
Buhodir Ghulomov was appointed to the position of Kogon district prosecutor in April 2022. He previously worked as a department head in the Bukhara province prosecutor's office.
