A horrific traffic accident that resulted in death of people occurred on the Kamchik pass. On February 12, 2024, a car transporter with new cars had an accident at the pass.
According to provisional information, the driver of the car transporter fell asleep while driving and lost control, hitting cars and people standing on the side of the road. As a result, six people were reportedly killed and several vehicles were damaged.
