Officers of the National Central Bureau of Interpol of the Interior Ministry brought a criminal from the capital of Nicaragua, who committed a significant fraud in his homeland.
Thanks to the assistance and support of officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, representatives of the US Customs and Border Protection in Ankara, Panama and Mexico, a representative of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs in Nicaragua, as well as officers of the departments for the investigation of criminal cases abroad of the Diplomatic Security Service of the US State Department in Tashkent, Istanbul, Managua, Panama and Mexico, this procedure became possible and was successfully completed.
The transit and transfer of the criminal were successfully organized and carried out, despite the remoteness, the large time difference and other factors, with the help of the Command and Coordination Center, the General Secretariat and the Interpol Bureau of Uzbekistan.
In the process of searching for a criminal who fled to Central America, the services of several countries were involved. The suspect, while on another continent, continued his criminal activities, engaging in illegal migration and organizing the transfer of foreign citizens to the United States through the countries of Latin America.
Thanks to the coordinated actions of all relevant services and joint efforts, the suspect was detained. And a decision was taken to extradite him to Uzbekistan to be presented before the court and to impose a well-deserved punishment for the crimes committed.
