Common terms agreement of the general contract for the Russian-designed nuclear plant project in Uzbekistan is in a high degree of readiness.
This is stated in a statement released by the Russian Foreign Ministry on Monday, TASS reported.
“The most important area of bilateral cooperation is energy projects. The flagship project of our economic ties is the nuclear power plant project of a Russian design in Uzbekistan. Common terms agreement of the general contract is in a high degree of readiness,” the statement highlighted.
On Monday, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and Uzbek Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov will hold talks in Moscow.
