Meeting was held at the Uzbek Embassy in Kiev with Dmitry Dubrovsky, the founder of the Ukrainian technological company Uklon, Dunyo reported.

During the meeting, a wide range of issues aimed at the further development of the company's relations with Uzbek partners were discussed.

Uklon is a Ukrainian ride-hailing service. Uklon offers ride-hailing, delivery service, carpooling, and other transportation services.

The company was founded as a startup company in 2009, and now has more than 500 employees. The IT division maintains one of the largest infrastructures in the Ukrainian market.

During the meeting, the Uklon’s executives were briefed about the favorable investment environment in Uzbekistan, the opportunities for technological growth, and the existence of potential for the a favorable urban environment.

Company executives have decided to expand their activities by investing millions of dollars in a number of countries with high potential, despite the current situation in Ukraine and difficulties for business related to it.

"We analyzed several markets and took into account a number of factors. These are economy, competition, cultural understanding and, of course, strategic potential. "We were inspired by the reforms implemented in Uzbekistan, so we decided to invest in business and jobs in this country," said representatives of Uklon technology company.

At the end of the meeting, an agreement was reached to further expand Uzbek-Ukraine ties in the trade and economic sphere and to continue the dialogue in order to ensure the entry of the Uklon company into the Uzbek market.
