On January 28, Uzmetkombinat JSC, the Uzbek,ferrous metallurgy giant completed the acquisition of a 51% stake in Li Da Metall Technology LLC.
The transaction was financed by the plant's own funds. Li Da Metall Technology LLC is located in Akhangaran city of Tashkent province. The company was launched in 2020 by a Chinese investor. The metallurgical complex includes a steel-smelting and rolling plants, as well as U&Os: a scrap collection rack, electrical substation, water treatment section, oxygen compressor shop and laboratory.
The enterprise is equipped with necessary equipment for production of rebar P12-P25 of strength class A400-A500 from high-quality steel.
The annual production capacity is 200,000 tons of rebar per year. In 2021, Uzmetkombinat JSC produced 1.08 million tons of metal products, an increase of 6.5% compared to 2020.
