President signed a decree instructing to complete integration of ATMs for Humo and Uzcard payment systems by May 2023, and for POS - by the end of 2023, the president’s spokesman Sherzod Asadov said.
In January this year, the governor of the Central Bank, Mamarizo Nurmuratov, said that Humo and Uzcard, after lengthy negotiations, agreed on mutual integration.
For the first time, plans to integrate the two payment systems were announced in September 2020. In July 2022, Mamarizo Nurmuratov noted that Humo and Uzcard continue to work on mutual integration, but the process is proceeding with some difficulties. According to him, some conditions of Uzcard do not suit Humo.
