The State Statistics Committee has reported on the volume of production of vehicles in January-September. In particular, the production of passenger cars topped 186,432, while in 2018 - 132,774, recording a 40.4 percent increase.
Production of trucks increased by 33.2%. 3,024 units in 2018, and 4,028 in 2019.
Production of automobile engines increased by 44.7%. 96,904 engines were manufactured in 2018, 140,201 in 2019.
The production of tractors in January-September 2019 was 1,099 units, which is 59.1% less than in the same period of 2018.
