The President’s draft of the Approval of International Treaty was announced. The Treaty between the government of Uzbekistan and the government of Azerbaijan on international road traffic, signed in Tashkent was approved on June 21, 2022.

On the afternoon of August 17, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev arrived in the city of Jeddah as part of a state visit to Saudi Arabia, the presidential press service said.

On August 17-18, Tashkent will host the fourth meeting of the ministers of interior and public security of the member states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO).

In January-July 2022, Uzbekistan exported 16.9 thousand tons of apples worth US$ 6.6 million to 7 countries. According to the State Statistics Committee, apple exports increased by 8.3 thousand tons compared to the corresponding period of 2021.

As reported earlier, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will pay a state visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on August 17-18.
