The State Tourism Development Committee hosted a meeting with executives of the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ) in Uzbekistan and experts of Mas Contour (Germany).

Uzbekneftegaz and the Azerbaijani state oil company SOCAR are planning to set up a trader JV to supply hydrocarbons from Uzbekistan to Europe, Uzbekneftegaz said.

An interim session of the Foreign Investors Council under the President of Uzbekistan took place on November 20 in Tashkent. Passenger cars production in Uzbekistan reached 218,912 thousand in January-October, an increase by 41.8 % compared to 2018, the State Statistics Committee said.

Total trade value of Uzbekistan in January-October 2019 topped US$ 34.7 billion, a US$ 8.8 billion increase, or by 34.4 % compared to the last year, the State Statistics Committee said in a report.

Epsilon Development Company, the company encorporated in the United States, has discovered a new oil and gas condensate field in southern Uzbekistanб with estimated reserves of about 10 million tons of oil and 7 BCM of gas, as per the findings of prospecting and appraisal drilling, the company said on Tuesday.
